LIBRARY:
The college has a Spacious Library with a rich collection of books. The college Library serves the needs of the faculty and students as a Resource center. The Library at the Institute has the capacity of more than 7,500 volumes on various disciplines. The various sections in our library are also well looked after with an impressive range of journals, periodicals and magazines both within and beyond the conventional academic ambit. The Library stocks a vast collection on almost all the fields of Education. The collection comprise of Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Atlases, Maps, Educational Surveys, Reports and NCERT Publications. The Library subscribes several National and International Journals and periodicals useful for Teacher Educators and Trainees in the field.
computer Lab:
In this modern era, computers have become a necessity and they are widely used in educational institutions for imparting education in an effective manner. Keeping this in mind, the college has an exclusive Computer Resource Center for practical classes. It has high speed Internet facility. Equipped with an impressive number of computer machines, and complete with air-conditioning facilities, the room is spacious enough to accommodate a fairly large number of students. In order to facilitate our trainees, comprehensive training is given to the students for seminar presentation, PPT preparation and various web links to gather the information are provided.
Lecture halls:
To provide a healthy simulating environment to our students, we have fully equipped Lecture Halls. The lecture halls are spacious enough to accommodate a large number of students. A large number of seats are available to facilitate seating of a significant number of students comfortably. These are well ventilated and installed with multimedia facilities like LCD Projector and others. Large and well ventilated method rooms are made available for teaching, workshops and other related activities. Apart from Lecture Rooms, we have a spacious air-conditioned seminar hall with sophisticated seating arrangement is used for paper presentations, guest lectures and work- shops etc.
science Lab:
In order to help our students with a deeper understanding of the subjects, we at Rajaji Nagar College of Education have state of art laboratories. We have a well-equipped Science Lab that is provided with all the required apparatus, chemicals and specimens that provides the trainees comfortable working conditions to conduct the experiments. Rajajinagar College of Education has a well maintained Psychology Lab which acts as an important resource for the staff and the students and is equipped with workbenches which aid us to conduct the experiments comfortably. The laboratory holds good number of psychological tests, books, manuals, equipment and other resources related to secondary school subjects.
