Rajajinagar College of Education is established in the year Senptember 1986, managed by KTSV Sangha(R) (KTSVS) that time our Sangha’s president Retired Sri.T.V.Thimmegowda who was director of text book (DSERT) and also an educationist who’s visionary and with the efforts of present president Sri.N.L.Narendrababu. Ex MLA and Secretary Sri.Kempaiah with executive board directors are responsible to commence bachelor of education college which helped rural graduate to pursue B.Ed. degree and in turn it helped the rural school children to pursue education in their mother tongue. Our institution is affiliated to Bangalore University and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in the year 24th July 1996. Our institution re-recognised by NCTE according to new regulations Dec-2014 with intake of single unit -50 seats. In the year January 1995 our institution admitted to grant-in-aid with U.G.C. pay scales. And institution included under university grants commission act 2(f) and 12(B) in the year 24.10.2008. The institution is a temple of learning where it is striving to generate teachers who would light the lamp of knowledge to dispel the darkness of ignorance and guide the future generation in the right direction, which is manifested in our vision and mission. Our institution having well qualified teaching faculty with five members are associate professors and four members with doctorate degree (Ph.D) and one more is pursuing Ph.D, degree. The college campus is located in the heart of Bangalore City with good infrastructure facilities and well equipped library, Laboratories with internet facility and access to e-journals. In the year September 2011 our institution completed twenty five years and celebrate silver jubilee, more than 4000 students are trained in our institution to serve the society. And our institution conducted extension service to secondary school teachers and also heads of the schools in the area of administration, evaluation and research activities. Thus our institution serve hard to uplift the society as a whole.

Rajajinagar College of Education (B.Ed) is a Bangalore based College and it was incepted in Sept.1986. Our College is located in the heart of Bangalore city and caters to the poor rural and urban needy students who aspire to become talented teachers of 21st century. The mission and vision of our institution is to promote quality teaches training to cater to the needs of the society. The college is run by KTSV Sangha with good visionary of President Sri. S.Siddagangaiah Sir, and dedicated Secretary Shri. Kempaiah Secretary Sir of our Sangha and good management office bearers. Our College is also recognized by National Council for teacher education ;affiliated to Bangalore Central University the College is recognized by University grants commission under 2(f) and 12(B) accredited with NAAC ‘B’ Grade . Our College has been admitted to grant in aid from 1995 with UGC pay scales. Nearly Four thousand students from all over Karnataka have successfully completed B.Ed., Training from our Institution The outgoing students of our college are well placed in different positions in Government and Private organizations .Some of them are occupied the positions of Deputy Commissioner, B.E.O, Principals, H.Ms and teachers this is the pride of our institution. I am looking forward to build efficient and talented Human Resources resulting a strong progressive nation through teacher training Program.
